Gritty and rough, Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a role-playing game that’s straightforward in its turned based combat, taking elements from former JRPGS of the past and modernizing it into a solid RPG experience. For anyone who wants to understand the familiarities of how role-playing games work, Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a good starting point for any beginner.

It’s easy to get hooked by Graceful Explosion Machine’s powerfully addictive loop of chaining together enemy kills and chasing high-scores. This intense 2D shoot ‘em up taps into the spirit of great games like Geometry Wars and Resogun, and it sets up tense encounters in small looping hallways where your quad weapons can chew through lots of enemies. But be careful! Mismanaging your power meter can leave you vulnerable to deadly enemies. GEM is an early Switch game that makes great use of HD Rumble to amplify enemy explosions and create interesting effects in the middle of a heated play session.

Mario’s lightning-fast rival lands on the Switch in a critically-acclaimed re-imagining of Sonic’s illustrious history. There’s a mix of old and new zones crammed with shortcuts and tricks that will keep you coming back from more. Plus, there’s three playable characters, including Sonic’s pals Tails and Knuckles.

Extremely practical device. It’s power and versatility make up for the slightly lofty expense. The switch is an entertainment machine through and through which will only become better once more games and content release during its lifespan.

Born out of Harvest Moon, it makes perfect sense that Stardew Valley fits right at home on the Switch. The farming life sim is wonderfully open ended, letting you forge your own country path with fishing, fighting, farming, and falling in love. Additionally, being able to take advantage of the Switch’s sleep mode helps take some of the pressure off of not being able to save in the middle of a day, even if a few other bugs in the port are still waiting to be squashed here. – Tom Marks

Since I got this at launch I’ve already played dozens and dozens of hours. I really like this system, and the ability for it to switch from TV mode to portable mode in an instant is frankly incredible. Games are coming out at a steady clip, so just as I’m starting to get bored of one title a new one comes out that I can focus all my attention on. Accessories are really expensive, but generally high quality from what I’ve seen. Battery kind of sucks, but I have a portable battery charger that is able to provide it with several more hours of power. My left joy-con is having connectivity problems occasionally, but Nintendo has a way you can send it in to get fixed. I’ve just not done it yet. If you like Nintendo games this is probably a no-brainer. I have few reservations about recommending this system. The biggest one being that if you aren’t very interested in Nintendo games you may just wanna pass this by. There are some good third party games, but if you don’t like Nintendo’s games you probably wont like the third party exclusives since they follow a similar thread of gameplay over anything else.

Wow! I just got mine today and it was awesome! But it didnt have a Gtx 1080 which i thought by now would be consumer standard by now… Overall its a very nice console, would buy again if I had the money. I really loved Nintendo’s version of GTA V and Fallout 6

Mario is also featured prominently in the top 10. Mario Kart 7 remains 3DS’s second-best-selling game, with 15.95 million copies sold. New Super Mario Bros. 2 caps off the top five at 11.73 million, while Super Mario 3D Land trails behind it slightly at 11.40 million.

This bundle includes the Nintendo Switch console and Nintendo Switch dock in black, with contrasting left and right Joy‑Con controllers—one red, one blue. It also includes all the extras you need to get started.

Race car driving meets soccer. Need I say more? The PlayStation 4’s most downloaded game of 2016 and one of the Xbox’s most-played games has made its way to the Nintendo Switch. The premise of Rocket League is almost painfully simple: chase down a giant ball and knock it into the goal. I say “chase down,” but nothing about a Rocket League match resembles a traditional car chase. What makes Rocket League so fun is that you’re constantly scrambling to jab the ball into the goal at any cost, which often means careening up the sides of the arena and tumbling through the air. The Switch version also has special Mario and Metroid-themed cars.

Nintendo’s new console is also better suited for entertaining children and guests that may not be as interested in video games. The Switch’s JoyCon controllers can detect motion like the Wii’s remotes, opening up possibilities for more casual party games. The best example of this so far is 1,2 Switch, Nintendo’s launch title for the console, which requires players to compete in wacky challenges against one another using the JoyCon remotes.

This bundle includes the Nintendo Switch console and Nintendo Switch dock in black, and left and right Joy‑Con controllers in a contrasting gray. It also includes all the extras you need to get started.

There are, of course, important differences to consider. The game selection for Nintendo’s DS lineup is already much larger than the Switch’s, and it includes popular titles from well-known franchises like Pokémon and Fire Emblem that aren’t on Nintendo’s home consoles. If those games are a selling point, you may still opt for a DS even if you already plan on buying the Switch. Plus, some DS models are small enough to fit into a pocket or small purse, while the Switch is better suited for larger handbags, messenger bags, and backpacks. But those who already carry a larger bag to work and just want to play games like Zelda and Mario on their commute will likely find no reason to buy both a Switch and a DS.

Odyssey is a phenomenal new 3D entry that builds upon the likes of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy with huge, open environments and loads upon loads of collectible moons to uncover by completing challenges and exploring. And this time around, Mario isn’t alone: his hat is actually an odd creature that can inhabit other living things, letting Mario control and use the myriad abilities of his many iconic enemies. Strange, right? Yes, but it’s a total delight.

By far the best racing game ever, especially for kids, is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. Both kids and parents alike can enjoy the long-established series of Mario Kart, as the game is filled with classic tracks, characters and that familiar rush from previous iterations. Just make sure that no one gets too into it – it’s that fun.

It is time to take fun to the next level. Well, Nintendo Switch games ensure you do this in style by providing fast-paced and action-packed games. The above compilation highlights games with different themes to help you get at least one that best suits you. What are you waiting for? Get one today for great gaming experience!

From the Wii’s magic wand-like game controllers to the GameCube’s boxy shape, Nintendo usually has a knack for making each of its consoles drastically different from the last. But the Switch, which launches on March 3 for $299.99, may be its biggest departure yet.

Nintendo currently offers a special $379 Super Mario Odyssey Switch bundle, which includes the game, a pair of red Joy-Con controllers that match the iconic hero’s signature hue and a carrying case inspired by the ex-plumber’s latest adventure.

Before considering a bundle, price each of the components out and think about which (if any) of the extras you actually want. GameStop has periodically been offering a $500 bundle that seemed like a fairly good deal, with a console and a few peripherals that many people would buy anyway, including two popular games (“Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe”). Unfortunately, that package has been sold out lately.

Super Mario Kart has always been a staple of Nintendo’s consoles, and there are plenty of reasons to pick up the latest installment for the Switch even if you’ve played Super Mario Kart 8. The Deluxe version introduces new characters like the Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy from Splatoon and an updated Battle Mode that includes new gameplay styles. Combine that with smaller updates like the ability to hold two items at a time and play with others without an extra controller, and you’ve got a game that substantially differentiates itself from its predecessor.
A gentle farming role-playing game that begins with someone chucking in their corporate cubicle job to run away to the country and live off the land. Stardew Valley is unquestionably the best value indie game on Switch: a full farming year lasts 20 hours and you can continue playing it pretty much indefinitely. Beware: during quiet moments at work, you may find yourself hiding in the toilets in order to harvest virtual strawberries.
